Southwest Beef Direct (“we”, “us”, “our”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit https://southwestbeefdirect.com, place an order, or sign up for our email or text messages, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

  • Contact and order information: your name, email address, phone number, billing and delivery address, and the items you order.
  • Payment information: payments are handled securely by Shopify and its payment processors. We don’t see or store your full card number.
  • Account information: if you create an account, your login details and order history.
  • Messages you send us: emails, form submissions, and reviews or feedback you submit.
  • Device and usage information: your IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and similar details, collected automatically through cookies and similar technologies.

How we use your information

  • To process and deliver your orders, send order confirmations and delivery updates, and handle questions or issues
  • To check that your address is within our delivery area
  • To send marketing emails and text messages if you’ve signed up for them
  • To run, secure, and improve our website and services
  • To display customer reviews
  • To comply with legal obligations, prevent fraud, and enforce our Terms of Service

Who we share it with
We don’t sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run our business, such as Shopify (our store platform), payment processors, email and text messaging providers, our review app, and analytics and advertising tools. These providers may only use your information to perform services for us. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights, safety, or property.

This does not include your mobile phone number or text messaging opt-in data and consent, which are never shared with third parties for marketing or promotional purposes.

Text messaging (SMS)
If you sign up for our text messages, we collect your mobile phone number and your consent record, and use them to send recurring automated marketing text messages, such as promotions, discount codes, order reminders, and new product announcements. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. See Section 25 of our Terms of Service for full SMS terms.

Email
If you receive marketing emails from us, you can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of any email. We’ll still send you messages about your orders.

Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep your cart working, remember your preferences, understand how our site is used, and measure our marketing. You can control cookies through your browser settings, but parts of the site may not work properly if you block them.

Your choices and rights
You can ask to see, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing welcome@southwestbeefdirect.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local privacy laws, and we’ll honor valid requests as required. You can opt out of marketing emails and texts at any time.

How long we keep information
We keep personal information as long as needed to provide our services, keep business and tax records, resolve disputes, and meet legal requirements.

Security
We use reasonable measures to protect your information, but no website or system is completely secure.

Children
Our Services are not directed to children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their personal information.
